Will Apple's Vision Pro turn into AR glasses?

It wouldn’t be unprecedented for Apple to take that approach. The company iterated on AR technologies in the iPhone for years before launching the Vision Pro. Yes, the Vision Pro is arguably much more of a VR headset than an AR device, but it’s clearly a first step toward something that could turn into AR glasses.

When will Apple glasses come out?

Samsung Securities believes Apple's AR glasses will launch in 2027 at the earliest. We may see Apple Glasses, or at least a cheaper version of the Vision Pro headset, appear at the end of 2025. Apple's WWDC 2023 keynote has come and gone, and while we got to see the reveal of the Vision Pro VR/AR headset, there was no hint at the Apple Glasses.
